Current Cleanser Rotation - Skincare Reviews

So I am a bit of a product whore. By this I mean that I like to try and use multiple products at once. I can never make a commitment. Not because I think the products are awful, just I get so much joy out of trying new things. Also my skin has very good tolerance that allows me to do this.  There is just a handful of products that have been a dud for me.

Naturally that means I have many of the same category of products going at one time.

Today I thought we could look at some of my current cleansers on rotation. They are all unique and have different formulas.

Gallinee Foaming Facial Cleanser – Gallinee formulate all of their products with a complex of prebiotics (good healthy bacteria) along with probiotics (healthy bacteria that soothe inflammation) and lactic acid. This makes their formulas very gentle and suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. This foaming cleanser made with 98% natural ingredients is deep cleansing whilst also being soothing and nourishing. It has a very light scent and leaves the skin feeling clean, soft and radiant.

Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm – Balm cleansing is my favourite kind of cleanser especially, to remove makeup. It literally melts the makeup off of your face. I do however use as a first cleanse and follow with a second cleanse (usually a foam of gel) after. The second cleanse rinses away and left over balm on your face which for oily skin types can cause congestion. Any way back to this gorgeous balm. How it melts into the skin is so satisfying and it smells like a spa. Once it has been massaged into the skin rinse away with a cleansing cloth and water.

Key ingredients – Mimosa flower wax, starflower oil, Almond oil, coconut oil, shea oil, Vitamin E.

Not only does the balm deeply cleanse but it firms and plumps the skin, hydrates, calms the skin and has anti-ageing properties. It’s a true beauty.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil – If I am not using a balm as a first cleanse I use an oil. As night time cleansers go this is up there with my favourite ever. It’s a lightweight oil that emulsifies into a milk lifting the impurities from your skin and also giving a pleasant sensual experience with its calming aromatic blend of evening primrose and lavender essential oils.

This cleanser works to prepare the skin for the night time skin renewal process, helping you to awaken fresh faced. I also recommend as value for money. This bottle will last you ages as you need the tiniest amount.

Key ingredients – Squalane, Lavender Essential Oils and Evening Primrose.

RRP £32.00 175ml - available HERE *affiliated

Herbal Essentials Miracle Cleanser * – Herbal Essentials formulate their products with pure Himalayan Water (high in essential vitamins minerals). I have adored all the products I have tried so far. They are all so gentle and remind me of baby care. Even the scents are so powdery and clean. This cleanser has the most bizarre texture. It is like a tick balm/ gel that emulsifies to milk. Leaves the skin clean, nourished and so radiant.

Key ingredients – Sunflower seed oil, Vitamin E and Glycerin.

RRP £14.00 - available on Amazon.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel* - Gel formulas work best for oily/ congested skin types as they purify the skins sebum levels. This gel cleanser lathers up deeply cleansing the pores with out stripping the skins natural moisture levels, leaving the skin hydrated. As one of the brands iconic products, being that Dermalogica are the number 1 brand recommended by beauty professionals world wide that a big deal and a cleanser loved by many!
