Emma Hardie holds a special place in my heart as its thanks to this brand I found a love for cleansing balms and hers is still my number one fave!

The brand has recently launched their first ever clinically trialed product. New to the Midas Touch range an age defying Super Serum designed to increase skin hydration levels in just 4 weeks.

Clinical Trials Showed that in 4 weeks –

• 97% agreed that moisture levels were improved.

• 90% agreed the serum combats dehydration.

• 86% agreed that skin felt firmer.

• 77% agreed that there was an instant reduction in the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles.

• 73% agreed that the skin has more brilliance and luminosity.

• 60% agree to a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

It has a lightweight balmy texture that melts with the heat of your skin to create a light oil like serum to be applied to your face, neck and décolleté.

The serum can be used in both your AM and PM routine to boost hydration to maximum levels, in turn plumping your skin like a feather pillow and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Key Ingredients –

Niacinamide – Regulates oil production, treats hyperpigmentation, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles and helps build keratin a protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy.

Vitamin C – A powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from external aggressors, encourages new collagen growth to help with skin sagging preventing premature ageing.

Backuchoil – An anti aeing retinol alternative helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles, evens skin tone, and preserves the skins elasticity.

Vitamin E – Helps repair the damage caused by UV, supports the skins health and cell function. Keeping the skin nourished and moisturized.

Squalene – A powerhouse ingredient when it comes to having amazing skin. This ingredient helps soften your skin giving it that suppleness. It also controls oil levels, fades dark spots and moisturizes the skin. This ingredient is very similar to our skins natural oils.

My Thoughts

For me personally I have oily skin and when my skin is dehydrated it becomes oiler. I start to see this excess oil around midday and if I am wearing makeup it will literally slide and melt off my face and leave me looking like I need a good wash.

I am 33 and have a lack of fine lines and wrinkles (a perk of having oily skin and Ehrlers Danlos Syndrome) so I wasn’t able to get a good guide with line reduction, so instead I focused on my oil levels to see if the serum was helping with hydration. It absolutely was. I was using this during the height of a small heatwave we had here in the UK (very rare lol) and my skin wasn’t excessively oily and the light makeup with setting powder I had applied was staying put until early evening. This is longer than usual.

It really is a dream to use and fits into both routines easily. It was also compatible with layering other serums on top and underneath to. The result was youthful, plump, dewy skin.

I think it is a product that can be enjoyed by all skin types that are ageing.
