Fenty founded by A List celebrity Rihanna have launched a capsule easy peasy 3 step skincare collection and I have been lucky enough to get my hands on the products to share with you all.

Firstly, let me tell you all little bit about the brand.

Fenty Skin products are –
• Vegan friendly.
• Cruelty free.
• Gluten free.
• Encased within fully recyclable packaging.

Rihanna founded Fenty Skin and its simplicity after finding skincare and how much is available out there overwhelming when she was in her teens. I think most of us can relate. Skincare doesn’t always have to be complicated. As long as you clean, protect and moisturise your skin you are already winning. This is why Fenty Skin have taken their skincare back to basics with a small capsule, no nonsense routine.

Step 1 – Remove and Cleanse
Cleansing your skin is the first step in any skincare routine and important. Cleansing your skin of makeup, dirt and excess sebum. Rather than the double cleanse you may hear of Fenty Skin have created a product that incorporates the double step cleanse in one. A rich 2 in one makeup remover and cleanser. A thick gel that lathers up into a thick cream with water. It cleanses, purifies and leaves the skin feeling deeply cleansed without stripping. The best part it smells of cherries and coconut.

Key Ingredients –
• Barbados cherry – Antioxidant rich in Vitamin C, protecting the skin against external aggressors, that are ageing and brightening.
• Ginkgo biloba – From a tree which is known to have ancient Chinese healing properties. This ingredient is amazing for oil control and improving skin clarity.
• Green tea – Widely used in skincare to help with external aggressors such as stress and pollution.
• Fig – Another ingredient rich in antioxidants.
• Quince – A rare fruit that is infused with minerals to help nourish.

My Thoughts – This is a very good cleanser. I am queen of the double cleanse, especially in the evening usually using an oil/balm then a foaming cleanser. I did feel this product on its own was enough to cut out a second cleanse. It lathered up well with water and rinsed easily leaving my skin feeling clean and happy and looking bright and radiant. If you are a fan of sweet fruity scents you will love this. I adore fragranced skincare, it gives the whole experience.

RRP £20.00

Step 2 – Tone and Treat
I am a huge toner fan. Some people argue toners are unnecessary but I will always argue this. My skincare routine is not complete without a toner and the Fenty Skin Fat Water intrigued me the most.

A thick jelly type formula, formulated to control oil productions, refine pores and reduce the appearance of dark spots so almost like a serum and toner in one.

Key Ingredients –
Niacinimide – A key ingredient when it comes to reducing the appearance of pores and controlling oil production.
Barbados Cherry – A rich antioxidant.
Australian lemon myrtle & witch hazel water – Oil control and pore refining.
Japanese raisin tree – An ancient remedy used to combat the effects of long nights partying, a fab detox ingredient.
Cactus flower – Hydration.
Green tea and fig – Rich in antioxidants.

My Thoughts – This had an instant effect on my oily skin. Stripped all the excess oils from my skin and tightened also. With this in mind although it says suitable for all skin types if you are on the drier side, you may find this too harsh and drying. Myself with very oily skin felt the need to apply an essence or a hydrating serum after this as my skin felt and looked thirsty. It has however, really helped keep my oily skin in check though, so although I have found an alternative way which means adding an extra step into the simplified routine (defeating the object slightly), I do feel it is beneficial and do love to use it. As with all of the Fenty Skin products it smells amazing!

RRP £25.00

Step 3 – Hydrate and Protect
Hydra Vizor is a moisturiser with SPF30 in one in a refillable form. The packaging really is fantastic on this one. Hydrating your skin while also protecting from the harmful and damaging rays of the sun (which whenever you see daylight are present by the way, you need SPF always). The texture is light weight and oil free making it suitable for all skin types. The product applies and absorbs quickly, leaving no white cast and is suitable to wear underneath makeup with no pilling.

Key Ingredients –
Kalahari melon – A wild watermelon enriched with antioxidants, vitamins and is also a fab ingredient for hydration.
Niacinimide – Keeping pores and oil production in check.
Hyaluronic acid & Aloe – Powerhouse of hydration plus soothing should you have irritation or inflammation.
Baobab – An African tree which gives off fruit rich in antioxidants and hydration.

My Thoughts –
Oh my this is a delight. It is so lightweight and silky an absolute dream to apply. As you apply it gives a cooling and soothing effect. I can’t actually believe this also contains SPF as there is no white cast or the greasy after effects of an SPF. Its like the SPF is a secret. A refreshing melon scent also gives the whole experience, making this product a gorgeous moisturiser which I recommend to all skin types. I especially think this will be a summer favourite it gives that whole vibe. AS if the products wasn’t dreamy enough the packaging on this one is so pleasing and is also refillable. Win win winner!

RRP £32.00 _ Refills £28.00
