My Autumn Beauty Must Haves

Summer 2018 is soon to be a memory and Autumn is creeping in.

Many people live for the summer, don't get me wrong it is probably my happiest and one of my most social seasons to, but I honestly love all the seasons. Each one has it's own charm that connects me to it.

So what do I love about Autumn? Evening walks in the crisp air, the bronze colour of the trees, dark cosy nights in, morning mists, pumpkin carving and Fireworks night.

A season change also means a new look on your beauty regime as well as perfume and makeup choices. Here I give you my top picks for Autumn.

Vita Liberata Body Blur - Your summer tan may be fading and unless you are lucky to holiday throughout the year and not just the summer, there is no chance of that tan returning for a while. There is the fake tan option, but that scares the crap out of you (me too). Fear not my lovlies I have found a beauty gem here. This body blur is instant and not only does it add an even non streaky 24 hour colour to your skin, it also has a HD finish, meaning it evens out your skin tone, correcting imperfections and blemishes leaving you with that Instagram filter look. Amazing!! It also contains skincare ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid an Aloe for skin hydration.  RRP £29.95

Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly - Around the end of September/ beginning of October the early mornings and nights get cooler and the central heating clicks on. Whilst this is keeping us toastie and warm it is also sucking the hydration from our skin, leaving it dehydrated. This new product from Clinique is amazing and I have already added this to my skincare routine. This product is applied just before you apply your moisturiser. It quenches your skins thirst providing 24 hour hydration, whilst strengthening the skins barrier, locking in the moisture and filtering out the bad stuff e.g. the harsh environment & pollution. Once you have applied your moisturiser it drinks it up and gives the skin a huge boost. Keeping your skin hydrated and youthful. The product is oil free and suitable for all skin types. RRP £31.00

Bobbi Brown Luxe Lipstick - Shade (Red Berry) - Autumn brings us the celebration of All Hallows AKA Halloween. This is the perfect excuse to get out the red lippies and get vampy!! I like this shade as it has a cool blue undertone and a sheer look. The whole Luxe range is gorgeous, I really need to go try out Bobbi Browns new Matte Luxe collection.

RRP £27.00

Jo Malone Cologne - Blackberry and Bay - When the seasons change so do my perfume choices. I go from really girly, light crisp florals and sweet fruity scents to more powerful woody scents with still that hint of sweetness. This perfume for me really captures my taste and blackberries are of course a Autumnal fruit. RRP £47.00 - £94.00

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Mist - When the season changes so do our habits. The gallons of ice cold water are now replaced with hot coffee, teas and drinking chocolate or anything we can grab to give us more motivation to get out the house when it looks so dark and misty outside, plus to keep us warm through the day. Water is vital too keep us hydrated and this includes our skin. We are all meant to drink a minimum of 2 liters of the wet stuff a day. If you fall into bad habits forgetting your water intake and your skin dehydrates, making you look tired. This little beauty will instantly refresh and wake you up, it will even fit in your handbag.  A ultra fine hydrating mist packed with antioxidants and vitamins. Contains a superfruit antioxidant blend of Acai, Goji, Mangosteen, Noni and Pomegranate fruit Extract along with Coffee Seed for healthy looking skin. Also contains apple leaf to soothe irritated skin. Suitable for all skin types. RRP £21.00

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer - If your skin is dehydrated, so is your hair. Keep your locks nourished with this pre shampoo treatment. This product is a cult product and a firm favourite of mine. Apply to lengths and ends before shampooing, detangle and place a shower cap over the top. This method locks in moisture more intensely. Relax in the bath with a book and a candle for 10-20 mins while this wonderful stuff works it's magic. Rinse, then shampoo and condition your hair as normal. Your hair will look bouncy, shiney and feel more manageable. Suitable for all hair types though if you have fine hair use sparingly.

RRP £18.50 - £32.00

Hourglass Ambient Bronzer - So we are all now looking like Casper the friendly ghost as the summer glow drains from our faces. This bronzer will bring that glow back to life. It is honestly one of the best makeup investments I have made. This bronzer filters light, giving you an instant natural looking colour with illuminated soft glow. The powder is very lightweight giving you room to achieve a buildable colour. I won't lie this beauty is spenny but I do promise it is worth every hard earned penny. A very good investment for your vanity. RRP £45.00

I hope this blog has provided some inspiration to those that are mourning the loss of summer. I would love to have your thoughts if you have tried any of these products or if you want to share your autumn faves for my readers too.

Can't wait to hear from you.

Kisses
