I can’t blooming believe the end of 2019 is near. What a year it has been, full of amazing memories and of course endless amazing beauty brands and products that I have had the pleasure to try.

I am excited to share my Top 11 (because I couldn’t break it down to 10) products that I fell in love with this year.  This was so difficult because there was so many more. but all of these had a positive impact on me in some way.

In no particular order :-

Two products from Pixi. I actually fell in love with the brand altogether but these two products stood out in particular.

Eye Reflection Shadow Palette (Natural Beauty) – 12 buttery neutral shades in a mixture of glitter, shimmer and matte finishes. Well pigmented and easy to blend. This has been my go to palette since I got it. Just gorgeous! *product gifted.

Retinol Tonic – A jasmine flower infused Retinol Toner for youth preserving. When I used this toner, bearing in mind I have tried lots including Pixis very own Iconic Glow Toner, I fell in love and used every last drop going on to repurchase twice. The toner gave my skin so much clarity, it was the clearest it has ever been. My skin texture was even and looked plumped and bright. I will ensure this is forever in my beauty lock up.

Charlotte Tilbury has been a favourite makeup brand of mine for a few years. Her products look luxe and are very easy to use. I also find for a high end brand the prices are not extreme, especially if you are only adding a product at a time to your collection. They are addictive and indulgent but absolutely worth every penny. This year Charlotte was hot on the new releases, there were so many that unless you are loaded with cash there was no way to keep up with them all. I did treat myself to a few new bits to add to my collection and two have become staple products of mine this year.

Airbrush Flawless Foundation (Shade 6 Neutral) – A full coverage matte foundation with serious staying power. The foundation literally grabs the skin and for an oily girl like me it also absorbs the shine. With 44 shades to choose from there is certainly a match for everyone. The product is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate and plump the skin, protect against  pollution and has a resistance against sweat and water, so you can see it has skincare benefits as well. I will say however, if you have dry flaky skin, the product will stick so exfoliate and use a hydrating primer before application.  The product gives an amazing flawless finish!

Hot Lips 2 (Glowing Jen) – Charlotte Launched her Hot Lips 2 collection earlier in the year, not only were the 11 shades inspired by iconic people stunning but the five refillable lipstick cases were gorgeous too! £1 million pounds from the proceeds of this collection went to the Women for Women Charity. I of course chose Glowing Jen. Inspired by Jenifer Anniston. The tawny Rose nude and Leopard print packaging design was me to a tee and I adore it.

I have been lucky enough to be apart of the Freshly Cosmetics family this year and have shared their new releases throughout the year. Freshly are founders of a natural cosmetics brand that is kind to the planet and to animals. There have been many favourites of theirs but I have chosen my one ultimate fave.

Emerald Clay Facial Mask – Part of the brand new ask trio launch this is my favourite of all. A purifying and cleansing facial mask perfect for those with oily, acne prone skin. The masks acts to deeply cleanse the pores whilst restoring the skins elasticity, even out skin tone, calms acne with anti-inflammatory benefits and controls sebum production. Ingredients include – red seaweed, Vitamin A, Spirulina, Bamboo charcoal and Liquorice. My skin always feels super clean and soft after using this mask. *gifted

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt – I won this in a giveaway and I was so blown away I bought a backup. As someone that suffers with greasy roots as well as dry itchy scalp it is sometimes difficult to find a balance and treat the two. This stuff is amazing and suitable for oily and sensitive scalp types. The sea salt lifts excess sebum and flaky skin from the scalp whilst the paste lathers up and deeply cleanses. Such a full hair detox experience and feels super luxe to use. After using this the weight is literally lifted away making my roots super clean, soft and bouncy. I adore it and try to use once a week in between regular shampoo. The tub goes a long way to as only one shampoo is needed with it.

Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint (Medium) – This product was my go to base all summer long. More skincare than makeup, this hydrating water tint gives thirsty skin a drink whilst also a hint of colour. The coverage is barely there so it doesn’t cover blemishes or fill wrinkles but it does give that healthy summer glow. I found it more comfortable to wear in the heat than a foundation or tinted moisturiser as the texture is so light. It is pricey but for me so very worth it. It also comes with applicator brush.

NYK1 Lash Force Serum – This stuff is actual magic, like real lash witch craft. My stubby little lashes now nearly touch my eye brows. You can see my results after 4 weeks HERE. My lashes are even longer 6 months later. Now can you see why I am in total love? I use it twice a day without fail and let’s just say I have lashes for days. A beautician even said to me recently “Wow your lashes look so real” that’s because they are! I will never be without my lash magic ever! *gifted

Another family I been extremely lucky to be a part of this year is the Touch In Sol Babes family. A Korean beauty brand that I have fallen in love with, the products and the people are such a pleasure to work with. There is not one product from the brand I have tried and disliked. I do however have two strong favourites.

No Pore Blem – the original pore blurring primer. Its literally a silk veil for your face. Now it doesn’t eliminate oils but it does fill deep pores and fine lines to give a flawless and pore less finish and the perfect base to apply makeup on top of. She is a bestseller and thoroughly deserves it. *gifted

Pretty Filter Chiffon Velvet Lip Tint (Red Berry) – with so many lip products on the market not only is it difficult to find your perfect shade but also the perfect formula. I found both in this product. This red gets me noticed and empowers me. I feel like a boss bitch every time I wear it. I get complimented a lot, I even got stopped dead in a street by a stranger who picked me out of the crowds of London’s Regent Street in the dark, I get asked where it’s from, it has been lent to a friend for a night out and my husband hates when I doll up to the nines he likes natural Nicola but even he doesn’t mind this colour. Safe to say I have found my perfect red and what’s more the formula is divine. A buttery lip tint that stains semi matte and lasts ALL DAY without drying the lips. I love her a lot!!!!! *gifted

The English Mineral Makeup Company Fairy God Mother - I had been eyeing this brand up a while and was so grateful to be given the chance to try this brand. This is now a firm favourite. A multi tasking light weight powder product (always gets extra points for multitasking) that can be used as a night treatment, a primer or a finishing powder. Fairy godmother reflects light and creates a soft focus halo on your skin. This reduces the appearance of imperfections and gives the look of super soft as a babies bottom skin. The powder is filled with many skincare ingredients including crushed pearls. Due to its translucent and skin kind nature it is suitable for all skin types and tones. *gifted
