I Was Featured in Marie Claire: My Summer Fragrance Favourite
I’m so excited to share that I was recently featured in Marie Claire as part of their summer fragrance article, where beauty insiders shared the scents they never travel without.

It was such a lovely moment for me, especially because the article was about something I genuinely love: summer fragrances, holiday memories and the scents that instantly take you back to your favourite places.
For my pick, I chose Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum. If you know me, this probably will not come as a surprise. I love anything that feels warm, coconutty, creamy and holiday inspired, and Soleil Blanc is one of those fragrances that always makes me think of sunshine.
Why I chose Tom Ford Soleil Blanc
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc has that beautiful sun kissed feel that I always look for in a summer scent. It is warm, creamy, slightly tropical and polished, without feeling too simple or too sweet.
For me, it smells like holidays, summer evenings, beach days and getting ready for dinner after being in the sun all day. It has that coconut warmth I love, but it also feels more elegant than a typical beachy fragrance.
In the Marie Claire feature, I spoke about how much I love coconuts, summer and holidays, and this scent captures all of that for me. It is one of those fragrances that instantly changes my mood when I wear it.
Who I think Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is best for
I think Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is best for someone who loves warm, creamy and holiday inspired fragrances. If you enjoy coconut, soft florals, amber and slightly sun cream style scents, this is one to try.
It is also a lovely option if you want a summer fragrance that feels a little more luxurious and grown up than a body mist. It still has that sunshine feeling, but it feels more polished on the skin.
I would say it may not be for you if you prefer very fresh, green or sharp citrus fragrances. Soleil Blanc is warm and creamy rather than light and airy, so it really depends on the type of scent you naturally reach for.
How I like to wear it
I like wearing Soleil Blanc most on warmer days, holidays and evenings out. It works beautifully in summer, but I also love wearing it when I want something that makes me feel like I’m away somewhere sunny, even when I’m not.
I usually apply it to pulse points and let it settle for a few minutes before judging it. On me, the warmth comes through more as it sits on the skin, and that is when I enjoy it most.
My summer beauty mood
This fragrance fits perfectly with the type of beauty I love in summer: glowing skin, glossy lips, soft bronzed makeup and products that feel easy but still put together.
When I’m shopping for summer beauty, I usually look for products I know I will actually use, rather than buying things just because they look pretty online. I like fragrance, skincare and makeup that feel wearable, flattering and easy to reach for again and again.
A little personal moment
Being included in Marie Claire was such a lovely reminder of why I enjoy sharing beauty content. I have always loved talking about products in a real, personal way, especially the ones that connect to memories, routines and little moments of confidence.
Fragrance is such a personal thing. The same scent can feel completely different from one person to another, but that is what makes it so special. For me, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc will always be one of those scents that makes me think of sunshine, holidays and happy memories.

Being featured in Marie Claire felt really special, especially for a topic I genuinely love.
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is still one of my favourite summer fragrances because it captures so many of the things I enjoy in a scent: warmth, coconut, sunshine, holidays and that soft polished feeling.
It will not be for everyone, especially if you prefer very fresh or sharp scents, but if you love creamy summer fragrances, it is one I completely understand the love for.
For me, it is a summer holiday in a bottle.
Have you tried Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, or do you have a fragrance that always reminds you of summer? Come and tell me on Instagram.
Kisses, Nicola xxx
