I am usually a bit suspicious of sleeping masks.
Some feel sticky. Some end up on the pillow. Some just feel like a normal moisturiser with nicer packaging. So when I started using the Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask, I wanted to love it, but I was not expecting miracles.
Then I woke up the next morning and my skin actually looked like it had rested.
Not in a dramatic “new face” way. More like softer cheeks, less dullness and that slightly fresher look I normally only get after a proper sleep and enough water.
I have been using it 3 to 4 nights a week for around a month, so this is my honest review of the texture, results, who I think it suits and where to buy it in the UK.

Quick verdict
The Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask is a lovely overnight mask if your skin is looking tired, flat or a bit dull.
It gives skin a softer, plumper look by morning without feeling heavy or greasy. I would not call it a miracle firming treatment, but as a final night time step for glow, comfort and bounce, it is genuinely good.
If you already like Laneige but want something richer than the original Water Sleeping Mask, this is the one I would choose.

What is Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask?
The Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask is an overnight face mask made for skin that looks tired, less firm or low on bounce.
It is part of Laneige’s Peony & Collagen range and is designed to be used as the last step in your evening routine. I see it as the product you reach for when your skin needs comfort, moisture and a bit of a morning glow boost.
I use it after serum and moisturiser, or sometimes instead of moisturiser if my skin already feels balanced.
Texture, scent and first impressions
The texture is the first thing you notice.
It is a pink gel cream that has a bouncy, jiggly feel in the jar. It spreads easily, feels cooling when you first apply it and settles into the skin without leaving a sticky layer.
The scent is soft and floral. It is not overpowering on my skin, but it is there, so if you only use fragrance free skincare, that is worth knowing.
The biggest plus for me was that it did not stick to my pillow. I applied it around 20 minutes before bed and by the time I got in, it had settled nicely.
How I used it
I used the Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask 3 to 4 nights a week as the last step in my evening skincare routine.
My routine was usually:
Cleanser
Hydrating serum
Moisturiser if my skin felt dry
Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask
On drier nights, I layered it over moisturiser. On normal skin days, I used it as my final moisturising step.
You do not need a thick layer. A thin, even amount is enough. The jar is 60ml, so it should last well if you are using it a few nights a week.
My results after one month
After the first night
My skin felt softer the next morning. The biggest difference was around my cheeks, where my skin looked a bit fuller and less tired.
Fine dehydration lines looked smoother too. Not gone, but softened because my skin looked more hydrated.
After four days
This was when I started to understand the “bouncy” name.
My skin looked a little more cushioned and makeup sat better on top. It gave that fresh, well slept look, even when I had not exactly had a perfect night.
After two weeks
With regular use, my skin felt more comfortable overall.
I noticed the biggest difference on nights when my skin had been dealing with cold weather, heating, too much coffee or just general tiredness. It helped take that tight, flat look away.
After four weeks
By the end of the month, I was reaching for it without thinking.
It did not erase deeper lines. It did not lift my face. No sleeping mask is doing that. But it did make my skin look smoother, fresher and more rested by morning.
For me, that is exactly what I want from an overnight mask.

Is Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask worth it?
Yes, I think it is worth it, especially because the jar is a decent size and you only need a thin layer.
At full price, it is a nice skincare treat. With a discount code, it feels much more reasonable.
Lookfantastic would be my first place to check because my code LFTFNICOLAL gives 20% off eligible products when accepted at checkout. Before you order, I would also check the current Lookfantastic offers, as Laneige is often included in wider beauty savings.

FAQs
What is the best Laneige discount code right now?
My current Lookfantastic code is LFTFNICOLAL, which gives 20% off eligible products, including selected Laneige items.
Is Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask sticky?
No, not on my skin. It feels bouncy when you first apply it, then settles down nicely. I did not get that sticky pillow feeling.
Can you use Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask every night?
You probably could if your skin likes it, but I prefer using it 3 to 4 nights a week. That feels like enough for my skin without making my routine feel heavy.
Is Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask good for sensitive skin?
My skin got on well with it and I had no irritation, but it does have a soft scent. If your skin reacts easily to fragrance, I would patch test first.
Is it better than Laneige Water Sleeping Mask?
It depends what your skin needs. The Water Sleeping Mask is lighter and better for simple hydration. Bouncy & Firm is richer and better if your skin looks tired, dull or less plump.
Does it help with fine lines?
It helped soften the look of fine dehydration lines on my skin because my face looked more hydrated and cushioned. I would not expect it to treat deeper lines, but it does make skin look smoother by morning.
How long does the 60ml jar last?
With 3 to 4 uses a week, I would expect the 60ml jar to last around 3 to 4 months, depending on how much you apply.
Should I use it before or after moisturiser?
Use it as the last step in your night routine. You can apply it over moisturiser if your skin feels dry, or use it instead of moisturiser if your skin already feels comfortable.
The Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask surprised me.
I expected a pretty pink gel cream and some hydration. What I got was skin that looked softer, fresher and more rested by morning.
It is not a miracle firming treatment, and I would not pretend it is. But as an overnight mask for tired, dull or slightly flat looking skin, I think it is gorgeous.
The texture is lovely, the jar is generous, it does not feel sticky on the pillow, and the results were visible enough that I kept using it.
Final rating: 4.8/5
If your skin needs bounce without adding loads of extra steps to your routine, this is a very easy yes from me.
