But it is also one of the few luxury masks I have tried where I saw a visible difference straight away. My skin looked brighter, smoother and more polished after one use, and makeup sat beautifully on top.

The Natura Bissé Diamond Luminous Perfecting Mask is a luxury radiance mask designed to brighten the look of skin, smooth texture and give a more even looking glow.

It is part of Natura Bissé’s Diamond Luminous range, which focuses on radiance and a more refined looking complexion.

The formula includes ingredients such as niacinamide, pomegranate extract and diamond powder for a light reflecting finish. I cannot say one ingredient did all the work, but the overall effect on my skin was very visible.

For me, this is not a casual “throw it on while cleaning the bathroom” mask. This is the one I reach for when I want my skin to look like I made an effort.

Texture, scent and first impressions

The texture feels very expensive.

It is a thick, pearlescent cream that spreads smoothly over the skin. It feels rich but not greasy, and you do not need a huge amount to cover your face.

The scent is soft and spa like. I get fresh linen, clean skincare and a tiny hint of rose. It smells luxurious without being too much.

When it is on, it feels comfortable. No tight clay mask feeling, no scary burning sensation, no drying down into a crusty layer. It just sits on the skin and feels creamy.

I left it on for 15 minutes the first time, then rinsed it off with warm water.

And yes, I understood the hype.

What happened after the first use

After the first use, my skin looked brighter straight away.

Not in a glittery way. More like the dull layer had been taken down a notch and my skin looked smoother in the mirror.

My pores looked a little softer, especially around my nose and cheeks. My complexion looked more even, and there was a fresh glow that made me want to apply less makeup than usual.

The part that impressed me most was how my foundation looked afterwards. It went on so smoothly that I actually noticed the difference while applying it.

That is when I knew this mask was going to be a problem for my bank account.

How I used it for one month

I used the Natura Bissé Diamond Luminous Mask twice a week for a month.

Most of the time, I used it in one of three ways.

Before makeup

This was my favourite way to use it.

I applied it for 15 minutes before doing my makeup, then rinsed it off and followed with moisturiser. My base looked smoother, fresher and less patchy.

If I had an event, dinner or photos, this is the mask I would use first.

Sunday skin reset

I also used it on Sunday evenings when my skin looked tired from the week.

I left it on for around 20 minutes while watching TV, then rinsed it off and kept the rest of my routine simple.

By the next morning, my skin looked more awake and less grey.

After travel

I tried it after a flight because my skin always looks dry, dull and slightly offended after travelling.

It helped my face look more human again. Not magic, but definitely fresher and more comfortable.

My results after four weeks

After using it for a month, I would say the biggest result was radiance.

My skin looked brighter after each use, and the glow usually lasted into the next day. I also noticed that makeup applied more smoothly when I had used the mask the night before or the same day.

In terms of uneven tone, I would not say it completely changed my pigmentation. That would be too much. But some areas of dullness looked softer, and my overall complexion looked a bit more polished.

The mask did not make my skin peel, sting or feel tight. My skin felt comfortable each time, but as always, if your skin is sensitive, I would patch test first.

I think you will like this mask if your skin looks dull, tired or uneven.

It is especially good if you want a quick glow before makeup, or if you have a special occasion coming up and want your skin to look smoother without doing anything too aggressive.

I think it suits normal, dry and combination skin well. Dry skin will probably enjoy the creamy texture, while combination skin can still use it as long as you do not apply too much.

It is also a lovely mask if you enjoy luxury skincare and want something that feels properly indulgent.

Who might not love it?

If you are on a tight skincare budget, this is not the mask I would tell you to buy first.

It is beautiful, but it is a treat product. You can absolutely get good skincare results for less money.

I would also be careful if your skin reacts easily to fragrance or rich textures. It did not irritate my skin, but that does not mean every sensitive skin type will love it.

And if you prefer very simple, fragrance free skincare, this might feel a bit too luxurious and scented for you.

Natura Bissé Diamond Luminous Mask vs 111Skin and La Mer masks

The Natura Bissé mask gives me more instant brightness than the La Mer masks I have tried.

La Mer feels more comforting and nourishing to me, while Natura Bissé feels more like a glow and smoothness mask.

Compared with 111Skin, I find this less sticky and easier to rinse away. Some 111Skin masks give a gorgeous finish, but they can feel a bit more serum heavy on the skin.

The Natura Bissé mask feels more polished and spa like. It is the one I would choose before makeup because it gives that smooth, bright base without leaving a tacky layer.

This is the big question, because the price is not shy.

At full price, I would call it a luxury treat. The sort of thing I would buy for a birthday, before a big event, or when I wanted one properly special skincare product.
