Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 Review

Pore products always make me slightly suspicious.

Not because I do not want smoother looking skin. I absolutely do. But because anything promising to shrink, erase or delete pores usually needs a little reality check.

Pores are normal. They do not just disappear because you swipe a pad over your face.

That said, my T zone can look shiny and a bit congested, especially around my nose and chin, so I wanted to see whether Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 could make my skin look smoother without irritating it.

I tested the pads carefully for two weeks, starting slowly rather than using them every night.

This is my honest review, including how they felt, how often I used them, whether my pores looked less obvious and who I think should be careful.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is a useful exfoliating pad if your skin looks congested, shiny or uneven.

After two weeks, my T zone looked smoother and less clogged, and makeup sat better around my nose. My pores did not physically shrink, but they did look a little less obvious because my skin looked clearer and less shiny.

I would not use these every night straight away. They are still exfoliating pads, so I think it is much safer to start slowly and watch how your skin reacts.

Why I tried them

My skin was not breaking out badly when I started testing these pads.

The issue was more texture and congestion. My nose and chin looked a little bumpy, and my makeup was sitting in a way that made pores look more obvious.

I wanted something quick and easy that could help smooth the look of my T zone without making my cheeks dry or sensitive.

Pre soaked pads are convenient, but they can also be easy to overuse, so I went into this test quite carefully.

What are Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 pads?

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 pads are pre soaked exfoliating toner pads designed to help skin look smoother, clearer and less congested.

Each pad has two sides. One side is textured, and the other is smoother.

The textured side is useful around areas like the nose and chin where texture is more obvious. The smooth side feels gentler and works better for areas that do not need as much exfoliation.

I would treat these as an exfoliating step, not as a basic hydrating toner pad.

Texture, sides and first impressions

The pads feel wet enough without dripping everywhere.

The textured side has a noticeable grip on the skin, so I did not press hard. I used it very lightly around my nose, chin and forehead.

The smooth side felt much softer, and I preferred that on my cheeks.

I felt a slight tingle the first time I used them, mainly around my nose. It was not painful, but it was enough to remind me not to use them like a normal face wipe.

After using one, my skin looked a little fresher, but I followed with moisturiser straight away.

How I used them for two weeks

I used Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 three times a week during my two week test.

My routine was:

Cleanser
Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0
Hydrating serum
Moisturiser

In the morning, I made sure to use SPF.

I did not use them on the same night as retinol, strong exfoliating acids or other active treatments. That would be too much for my skin.

I also avoided using them on any areas that felt dry or sensitive.

My two week test

First use

After the first use, my skin looked fresher, especially around my nose and chin.

It did not look dramatically different, but it felt smoother when I applied moisturiser.

I did not get redness, but I kept my routine very simple afterwards.

Week 1

By the end of the first week, my T zone looked a little clearer.

The bumpy texture around my nose was less obvious, and my foundation sat more smoothly in that area.

My cheeks did not love the textured side, so I stopped using that side there and kept it mainly to the T zone.

This is where I think people can go wrong with pads. You do not have to swipe every area of your face the same way.

Week 2

By the end of the second week, my skin looked smoother overall, especially through the centre of my face.

My pores were still there because pores are normal, but they looked less noticeable when my skin was less shiny and less congested.

I did not peel or feel overly dry, but I think that is because I did not use them daily.

For me, three times a week was enough.

Did they shrink my pores?

No, and I would be wary of expecting that from any skincare product.

What they did do was make my T zone look smoother and less congested, which made pores look less obvious.

That is the more realistic result.

If you have visible pores because of oil, shine or texture, exfoliating pads can help the skin look more refined. But they will not permanently shrink pores or erase them.

How often should you use Medicube Zero Pore Pads?

I would start with 2 to 3 times a week.

Even if your skin is used to exfoliation, I would still build up slowly.

Signs you are overdoing it can include:

Tightness
Stinging
Redness
Flaking
Skin feeling hot
Makeup suddenly sitting badly

If any of that happens, stop using the pads and go back to a simple routine.

Can sensitive skin use them?

Maybe, but I would be careful.

If your skin is sensitive, I would patch test first and start once a week. I would also avoid the textured side at first and use the smooth side gently.

If your skin barrier already feels compromised, I would skip these until your skin feels calm again.

These are not pads I would use on irritated, broken or freshly exfoliated skin.

Can you use them with retinol?

I personally would not use them on the same night as retinol.

That combination can be too much, especially if your skin is sensitive or dry.

A safer approach would be to use exfoliating pads on one night and retinol on a different night, with simple hydrating nights in between.

And always use SPF in the morning.

Who are Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 best for?

I think these pads make the most sense if your skin looks congested, oily or uneven through the T zone.

They are best for people who want a quick exfoliating step and are happy to use it carefully.

I would look at them if your concerns are:

Visible pores
Oily T zone
Bumpy texture
Congestion around nose or chin
Makeup sitting unevenly
Wanting a quick exfoliating pad

Who should skip them?

I would skip these if your skin is very sensitive, irritated or already over exfoliated.

I would also be careful if you are using strong retinoids, prescription acne treatments or other exfoliating acids.

If your skin is dry and easily upset, there are gentler ways to smooth texture.

These pads can be helpful, but they are not something I would throw into a routine casually without thinking about the rest of your skincare.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 vs Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid feels more like a targeted leave on exfoliant.

It is a good choice if you know your skin likes salicylic acid and you want something more focused.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 feels more convenient because the pads are ready to use and give a physical swipe as well as exfoliating ingredients.

My simple take:

Choose Paula’s Choice if you want a classic BHA exfoliant.

Choose Medicube if you like the convenience of pads and want something quick for the T zone.

I would not use both on the same night.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 vs Anua Glow Pad

Anua PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Glow Pad feels more hydrating and glow focused.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 feels more exfoliating and pore focused.

If your skin feels dehydrated and dull, I would lean Anua.

If your T zone looks congested and textured, I would lean Medicube.

They are not really doing the same job, so I would not layer them together without thinking carefully about your routine.

Are Medicube Zero Pore Pads worth it?

Yes, if you want a convenient exfoliating pad for texture and visible pores.

I liked them most on my T zone, and I think they made my skin look smoother after two weeks.

They are not magic, and they did not shrink my pores. But they did help my skin look less congested, which made makeup sit better.

Before ordering, I would check the Lookfantastic exfoliating skincare offers because Medicube offers can change.

FAQs

What is the best Medicube discount code right now?

My current Lookfantastic code is LFTFNICOLAL, which gives 20% off eligible products when accepted at checkout.

Do Medicube Zero Pore Pads shrink pores?

No skincare product can permanently shrink pores. On my skin, the pads helped my T zone look smoother and less congested, which made pores look less obvious.

Can I use Medicube Zero Pore Pads every day?

I would not start with daily use. I used them three times a week and that was enough for my skin.

Are they good for sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin should be careful. Patch test first, start slowly and avoid the textured side if your skin reacts easily.

Do they sting?

I felt a mild tingle around my nose, but not painful stinging. If they sting strongly, I would rinse, stop using them and simplify your routine.

Can I use them with retinol?

I would not use them on the same night as retinol. Alternate nights are a safer option.

Should I use SPF after AHA or BHA pads?

Yes. I would always use SPF in the morning when exfoliating acids are in your routine.

Are they good for blackheads?

They may help the skin around the nose look clearer and smoother, but I would not expect them to remove blackheads overnight.

How do they compare to Paula’s Choice BHA?

Paula’s Choice feels more like a classic leave on BHA treatment. Medicube feels more convenient and pad based.

How are they different from Anua Glow Pads?

Anua Glow Pads feel more hydrating and glow focused. Medicube Zero Pore Pads feel more exfoliating and texture focused.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is a good option if your T zone looks congested, oily or uneven.

Used carefully, the pads helped my skin look smoother and made pores look less obvious because my skin looked less shiny and clogged.

They did not shrink my pores, and I would not use them every night straight away. But as a few times a week exfoliating pad, I liked them.

Final rating: 4.4/5
