The original LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask is already a bit of a classic, so when I saw the Pumpkin Pie version, I wanted to know one thing.
Is it actually different enough to buy, or is it just the same lovely lip mask in a more seasonal scent?
I tested the LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask for 7 nights, mainly to judge the scent, texture, overnight comfort and whether it performed as well as the classic Berry version.
This is my honest review of the Pumpkin Pie flavour, including whether I think it is worth buying if you already own the original.
LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask is a cosy, seasonal version of the original overnight lip mask.
The texture felt very similar to the classic version on my lips. Thick, glossy, cushiony and comfortable overnight.
The main difference is the scent. Pumpkin Pie smells warmer and sweeter than Berry, with more of a dessert style feel. It made my lips feel softer by morning, and flaky areas looked less obvious after using it consistently for a week.
It did not make my lips look dramatically bigger, and I would not describe it as a plumping treatment. It is a lovely overnight balm with a seasonal scent.

Why I tried the Pumpkin Pie version
I already understood why people like the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask.
It is thick, glossy, easy to use and genuinely nice when your lips feel dry. But flavour limited editions can go either way.
Sometimes they feel fun and worth buying. Other times, the scent is the only difference and you do not need another jar.
Pumpkin Pie sounded very autumn, very cosy and very easy to overdo, so I wanted to see whether it was wearable at bedtime or too sweet.
What is LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask?
LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask is a seasonal version of the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask.
It has the same overnight lip mask idea: apply a small amount before bed, leave it on while you sleep, then wake up with lips that feel softer and more comfortable.
The Pumpkin Pie version is mostly about the scent experience. I did not find it dramatically different in texture from the original Berry mask.
So the real question is whether you like the idea of a warm, sweet, pumpkin spice style lip mask enough to choose this one over the classic.
Pumpkin Pie scent and first impressions
The scent is sweet, warm and cosy.
It is not just plain vanilla. It has more of that autumn dessert feel, with a soft pumpkin spice style note.
I liked it more than I expected, but it is definitely noticeable when you first apply it. If you hate sweet lip products, this may be too much.
It did not linger strongly all night for me, but I could smell it when applying it and for a little while afterwards.
The texture felt smooth, thick and glossy, just like I would expect from LANEIGE.

How I used it for 7 nights
I used LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask every night for 7 nights.
My routine was simple:
Cleanse face
Finish skincare
Apply a thin layer of LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask
Leave it on overnight
Wipe away any leftover product in the morning
I used a small amount because you really do not need much. If I applied too much, it felt heavier than I wanted.
A thin layer gave the best balance of comfort without feeling messy.
My 7 night test
Night 1
The first night, I noticed the scent more than anything else.
It made the product feel cosy and autumnal, but the texture still felt like classic LANEIGE. Thick, glossy and cushiony.
In the morning, my lips felt softer and less tight.
Nights 2 to 3
By night three, flaky areas looked less obvious.
My lips still looked like my lips, just smoother and more comfortable. It helped most with that dry texture that makes lipstick look uneven.
I did not notice any irritation from the scent, but I would still patch test if your lips are sensitive.
Nights 4 to 5
By the middle of the week, I was mainly using it because I liked the routine.
It felt like a small bedtime treat, especially on colder evenings.
The mask stayed on well overnight without feeling too sticky. I did not notice it transferring badly to my pillow, but I was careful to use a thin layer.
Nights 6 to 7
By the end of the week, my lips were in better condition than when I started.
They felt softer, looked smoother and were less flaky. Lip liner and lipstick went on better the next day.
The result was not dramatic or filler like. It was just good overnight lip care, which is exactly what I wanted.
Does Pumpkin Pie feel different from the original Berry version?
On my lips, not really.
The texture felt very similar to the original LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask. The difference is mainly the scent.
Berry feels fruitier and fresher. Pumpkin Pie feels warmer, sweeter and more seasonal.
If you already love the original formula, Pumpkin Pie will probably feel familiar.
If you are expecting a totally different lip mask, I do not think it is that.
Is the Pumpkin Pie scent too strong?
It depends how you feel about sweet scents.
I found it noticeable but not unbearable. It smells warm and dessert like when you apply it, then softens.
If you love autumn scents, you will probably enjoy it.
If you prefer fresh, barely there lip products, I would choose Berry or another LANEIGE flavour instead.
Is it sticky?
It is thick and glossy, so you can feel it on your lips.
I would not call it sticky in an annoying way, but it is not weightless either. It leaves a proper layer, which is part of why it works well overnight.
Use less than you think. That is my main advice.
Who is LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask best for?
I think you will like this if you already enjoy the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask and want a warmer, sweeter version.
It is best for:
Dry lips
Flaky lips
Autumn and winter lip care
Gourmand scent lovers
Fans of the original LANEIGE formula
Anyone who wants a seasonal bedtime lip balm
Who might not love it?
You may not love this if you dislike sweet scents.
You may also want to skip it if you already own the original and do not care about fragrance. The performance felt very similar to me, so the scent is the main reason to buy this version.
If your lips are severely cracked, bleeding or irritated, I would use something very simple and speak to a pharmacist if needed.
This is a cosmetic lip mask, not a medical treatment.
Pumpkin Pie vs Berry
Berry is the safer choice.
It smells fruity, classic and more universal. If you are buying your first LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask, I would probably start there.
Pumpkin Pie is more fun and seasonal.
It feels cosy and sweet, but it is less of an everyday scent. I can imagine loving it in autumn and winter, then reaching for Berry again in spring.
My simple take:
Choose Berry if you want the classic.
Choose Pumpkin Pie if you already like the formula and want something warmer and more limited edition feeling.
Pumpkin Pie vs Fenty Skin Plush Puddin’ Lip Mask
Fenty Skin Plush Puddin’ Lip Mask feels a little thicker and more buttery to me.
LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie feels glossier and more classic overnight balm.
I like LANEIGE when I want that smooth, shiny sleeping mask feel. I like Fenty when I want something that feels richer and more buttery.
For scent, Pumpkin Pie feels more seasonal. Fenty feels more everyday.
Is it worth buying if you already own the original?
Only if you care about the scent.
The performance felt very similar to the original LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask on my lips, so I would not say you need both.
But if you love seasonal beauty, autumn scents or collect LANEIGE flavours, Pumpkin Pie is a lovely version.
If you just want the best all round choice, I would still start with Berry.
Is LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask worth it?
Yes, if you like sweet seasonal lip products.
It made my lips feel softer and smoother after 7 nights, and the scent made the routine feel more fun.
But I would see it as a flavour preference rather than a must have upgrade from the original.
Before ordering, I would check the Lookfantastic K beauty lip offers because LANEIGE offers and seasonal availability can change.

My current Lookfantastic code is LFTFNICOLAL, which gives 20% off eligible products when accepted at checkout.
Is LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask worth it?
Yes, if you like sweet seasonal scents. If you already own Berry and do not care about scent, you probably do not need both.
Does Pumpkin Pie smell strong?
It is noticeable when first applied. I found it sweet and warm, but it softened after a while.
Is it different from the Berry version?
Mostly in scent. The texture and overnight feel were very similar on my lips.
Does it taste like pumpkin pie?
I would not buy it for taste. It smells sweet and pumpkin spice inspired, but it is still a lip product, not something to eat.
Is it sticky?
It is thick and glossy, but I did not find it annoyingly sticky when I used a thin layer.
Can you use it every night?
Yes. I used it every night for 7 nights and my lips got on well with it.
Is it good for dry lips?
Yes, it helped my lips feel softer and made flaky areas look less obvious during my test.
Is it limited edition?
Pumpkin Pie is a seasonal style flavour, so availability may change. I would check stock before getting too attached.
Should you buy Pumpkin Pie if you already own Berry?
Only if you want the scent. If you just want the formula, Berry already gives you the core LANEIGE lip mask experience.
LANEIGE Pumpkin Pie Lip Sleeping Mask is a lovely seasonal version of the original.
It made my lips feel softer, smoother and more comfortable after 7 nights, and the Pumpkin Pie scent made the routine feel cosy and fun.
But the performance felt very similar to the classic Berry version, so I would not call it essential if you already own the original.
Buy it for the scent, the season and the little bedtime treat factor.
